Measures taken to control the Kovid 19 virus

  • Sterilization of the office entrance and interior
  • Awareness programs for officers using technology such as telephone messages, text messages, viber and WhatsApp

  • Monitor all Grama Niladhari, Police, Health Medical Officer's office and get information from the police to track the truth.
  •  Inform the relevant Grama Niladhari of the changes in the places of residence between the divisions and verify by the police.
  •  Maintaining information network at Grama Niladhari level
  • Appoint an officer to accept grievances by the Front Office
  • Payments of disabled allowances, elders allowances etc. through the Grama Niladhari
  • Distributing dry ration bags in collaboration with businessmen and philanthropists in the area.
  •  Proper distribution of dry food, vegetables, bakery products and water at divisional secretariat level.
  • Conducting mobile services for distribution of essential commodities at domain level
  • Appointment of a Coordinating Officer at the Divisional Secretariat to coordinate wholesalers and retailers for essential services (vegetables, groceries, pharmaceuticals, water, gas).
  • Co-ordinate all Co-operatives, Co-ops, Co-op-city wholesale stores in the area and collect bulk reports once in three days and arrange necessary action by the Food Commissioner to obtain shortage items.
  • Supervision of vegetable vehicles, bakery products, food trucks and daily commute at the divisional level.
  • Distribution of Immunization Drugs in collaboration with the Office of the Medical Officer of Health
